Growing Together: Honoring Our Mushroom Project Partners

The Mushrooms of Hope initiative in Uganda’s Kyangwali Refugee Settlement is a powerful example of what’s possible when grassroots action meets strategic collaboration. With the support of dedicated implementing and financing partners, Agri Planet Africa is helping refugee women turn mushroom farming into a sustainable path toward food security, income generation, and climate resilience.

At Agri Planet Africa, we believe lasting impact is built through collaboration. Our Mushrooms of Hope initiative in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement is more than a sustainable farming project—it’s a collective effort fueled by visionary partners committed to empowering refugee communities.

Through this project, women have been trained and equipped to grow mushrooms as a pathway to food security, economic independence, and climate resilience. This would not have been possible without the dedication and support of a strong network of implementing and financing partners.
