At Agri Planet Africa, we’ve always believed that sustainable agriculture, education, and youth leadership are the roots of lasting community transformation. From the beginning, our programs have been grounded in permaculture principles and a passion for equipping young people with the tools they need to thrive.

Today, we’re excited to share that something new—and deeply aligned with our mission—is in the works.

Introducing Agri Planet Foundation

Agri Planet Foundation is a new U.S.-based nonprofit that is currently being established to support the work of Agri Planet Africa. While it will operate as a separate legal entity, its purpose is to amplify, sustain, and expand the mission of Agri Planet Africa through U.S.-based awareness, fundraising, and strategic global partnerships.

This initiative is not yet live, but the formation process is well underway.

Why This Matters

The creation of Agri Planet Foundation represents a powerful step forward. It will help us:

  • Build global partnerships with individuals and organizations that share our vision
  • Raise awareness about the impact of our work in Uganda and beyond
  • Secure sustainable funding for long-term programs
  • Provide administrative support that strengthens our ability to deliver on-the-ground change

As our CEO, Ignatius Ahumuza, recently shared:

“The creation of Agri Planet Foundation is more than expansion—it is alignment. It reflects the growing global belief that sustainable farming, education, and youth leadership can change lives. Together, we are building a bridge between continents, united by purpose and driven by hope.”

What’s Next?

We’re currently completing the legal steps needed to establish the foundation as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States. Once finalized, this new structure will allow supporters in the U.S. to make tax-deductible contributions and become more deeply involved in our mission.

We’ll be sharing more updates soon—including how you can connect, support, and grow with us in this new season.

For now, we invite you to stay tuned and celebrate this exciting development as we continue laying the groundwork.

Together, we grow.
