Boosting Local Economies with Permaculture
Our organization works with local farmers in the region who use permaculture techniques for their farms. Permaculture is a holistic approach that views the environment as an interconnected living organism system. It helps develop ecological methods of growing food with minimal environmental impact — from no-till farming practices to soil regeneration strategies. This helps local economies become more resilient, boosts soil fertility, and preserves resources for future generations.
Promoting Social Justice
Agri Planet Africa is committed to promoting social justice locally and globally by providing fair wages for farmers, offering educational opportunities for children, and creating employment opportunities in rural areas. In addition, we are striving to create an equitable environment where everyone has equal access to resources such as land ownership rights, health care services, quality education, and economic opportunities. Investing in these areas can help lift communities out of poverty while ensuring that everyone has a voice in the decision-making process.
Protecting Animal Rights
We are also passionate about protecting animal rights and ensuring that animals live happy lives free from exploitation or abuse. So rather than selling them to butcheries as many other organizations do here, our organization will purchase cows so they can live their lives on our farm. This way, we can ensure that the cows are treated humanely and given access to proper nutrition and care while still providing us with manure for our farms – it’s a win-win situation!
